3. A Haryana student has been selected for a

new airline in India ,
the two companies said in a joint statement. Tata Sons will control the majority 51 percent stake, while Singapore

8. Justice Prafulla Chandra Pant, Judge of the
High Court of Uttarakhand was on 19 September 2013 appointed as the new Chief
Justice of the Meghalaya High Court. He was appointed by the President of
India, Pranab Mukherjee.
9. Former Nintendo Company Limited President Hiroshi Yamauchi, who built the
company into a video game giant from a maker of playing cards during more than
half a century at the helm, died on Thursday of pneumonia, the company said. He
was 85.
