IBPS Clerk Exam Review and Success Strategy

Hi Friends.. I m J.K.Vishnu Priya. I wrote my IBPS Clerk III exam on December 1st. In this review, I wish to share my exam experience and tips with other bank exam aspirants who are gonna write their exams in the upcoming weeks.

Overall View about the Exam :
Easy/Moderate, few sections were little time consuming.

Success Strategy :
Reasoning and Quantitative sections are very time consuming. So its better to start with the theory sections.

Finish the 3 sections ie., i) Computer Awareness, ii) General Awareness, and iii) English in first 50 minutes.

Next go to Quantitative aptitude, attempt 25 questions. And then finish 25 questions in Reasoning section, taking 20 minutes time for each. Now you don't have to panic about your qualifying marks in each section. After finishing 25 questions in each section, you'll be having half and hour remaining as per this plan. Utilize this time to solve the remaining problems in the two sections (Quantitative and Reasoning).

Tips for Each Section :
General Awareness with reference to banking awareness was very easy, most of the banking awareness questions were very basic. If you're preparing well then you can easily crack this exam. General awareness questions were mostly related to national events only. Totally 20-25 banking questions and rest are general awareness.

Computer section was very basic level and easy to crack. You can save time in this.

English was also very easy. Just remember not to spend too much time in passage and sentence arrangement.

Quantitative aptitude consisted of about 10 simplification problems, 5 series question, 5 data interpretation, and then 1 or 2 questions from other topics like SI and CI, percentage, age problems etc., Be careful in time management. Don't attempt questions which you're not sure of.

Reasoning was little time consuming. There were two puzzles for 10 marks, one is circle puzzle (8 persons - 6 facing outside and 2 inside), other one is line arrangement, then other problems were from syllogism, statement and conclusion, coding decoding, blood relation etc., I would suggest to attempt the two puzzles at the end.

Overall, the paper was very easy. If you're good in time management skills and practicing well, then you can easily score 150 and above.

Thanks to J.K.Vishnu Priya for Sharing. God Bless her.

All the best friends :)
