Punjab Police Department, Punjab Police Head Quarters, Sector-9, Chandigarh invites online applications from eligible female candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (Female) in Punjab Police (District Cadre).

• Sub Inspector (Female): 110 Posts; Pay Scale: Rs. 10300 - 34800 + Grade pay Rs.4600/-

Category wise Vacancies: General - 68, SC/ST - 28, BC - 13, Freedom Fighter - 01; Total Ex-Servicemn Vacancies - 14 (Gen - 08, SC/ST - 04, BC – 02).

Age Limit: 18 to 5 Years as on 01/01/2013.

Educational Qualification: Graduation (Degree) as on 15/11/2013 or its equivalent from a recognized university. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of th ecompulsory/elective subjects passed at the level of Matriculation from a recognized education board/University.

Application Fee: Rs.500 for General Category and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST Category. The last date for submission of fee is 03.12.2013 by 04:00 PM.
