SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2013

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the following posts:

• Stenographer Grade-C: Pay Scale: Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300-34800; Grade Pay: Rs. 4600/-
• Stenographer Grade-D: Pay Scale: Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200; Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-

Age: 18-27 years as on 01/08/2013 (relaxation in age as per rules).

Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognised Board or University.

Application Fee: Rs.100/- payable through CRF Stamps for off-line application or SBI Challan or online payment through SBI in the case of online application. No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Exs Category Candidates.

Selection Process:  Written Examination (Objective Type) - General Intelligence & Reasoning-50 Marks, General Awareness-50 Marks, English Language and Comprehension-100 Marks. The Exam Date - 29/12/2013; Shortlisted candidates from written exam, called for Skill Test in Stenography.
